The U.S.S. APPOMATTOX NCC-75001 is a fictional Sovereign Class Starship based on "Star Trek".

We are a chapter of StarFleet International "SFI" based on the tenets of StarFleet and the United Federation of Planets of the Star Trek series, a Paramount© production.

We are based within Region 1 of SFI , this means that we are in one of the eight states that make up Region One. These states are: Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. Specifically we are in central Virginia based in the Lynchburg area.

Our ship is involved with charitable activities on a local, national, and worldwide basis as well as other notable events.
Our Commanding Officer and Executive Officer are elected from the members of the ship. Anyone is welcome to come sit in our meetings at the Forest Library and / or partake in our events. Members are further encouraged to develop a persona based on characters and races in Star Trek in all its forms but it is not required.
